I would sell it at that price in a heartbeat, post that shit for sale at the lawyer forum with a link to that ebay auction.

The going prices are going to make it hard for me not to sell it. It's amazing what happens to products that get discontinued. But i really like this thing, probably not worth flipping it. Maybe? I don't know.

I have been thinking about that for a few months
The glass nexus has enough delay for me, My Timeline has been sitting in the box for almost a year...

Now may be the time to unload if you are thinking about it. IIIRC I read a rumor that DC/Strymon are working a new versions, which could make the original obsolete as the new one is rumored to be smaller and have no tubes. Then again, when the new replacement is released, it could drive the original TimeLine higher? decisions, decisions!

Any news on the going rate for a Glass Nexus? I don't want to sell mine, but if the going rate is $800 or more I'd be tempted; $1000+ consider it up for sale.

I think i saw a few Nexus pedals sell for around $350.

Thanks! Not worth selling my GN at $350. I'm sure I'd regret it if I sold it, but I'd get over it for the right price! ;)

Keep in mind though that was NIB. It's tempting but I wouldn't sell my Timeline or Glass Nexus. I did see a Glass Nexus go for around the $425 dollar mark like 2 months ago though I think

I've said that I wouldn't sell something before too, usually works out, not always. I know I would regret selling my GN, missed my chance to get a TimeLine which worked out since I eventually got a G-System, and my GN is packed away for future use.

But, I wonder if you ever said that about a certain JMP-1 at one time too?

;)

Still rocks, and has some company now too:

Aahh man, I was just thinking about the JMP-1 the other day    You're right I didn't think I was going to sell it but an emergency came up. It would be great for the little recording rig I'm trying to get going. Glad to see it's doing you good though, still looking good too. If an emergency came up the DC stuff would be the last gear to go but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess.

Makes you wonder if they will keep going up or if the new Damage Control stuff coming out will drop the value down  If I knew for sure I'd sell mine now and then buy one back cheaper once the new stuff came out

Agreed.

The JMP-1 is how I get my Marshall fix. I found the JFX-1 on ebay for a very good price, figured it would be good to have if I ever decide to sell the JMP-1...but that hasn't been a need or consideration.

For an inexpensive recording rig, check out the Zoom G2Nu...I picked up the G2.1Nu that has the integrated pedal, but the short travel range makes it nearly unusable. The G2Nu street price is around $149, and you can probably find it for less. It has a USB direct and comes with Cubase 4 LE (download the ASIO driver from Zoom), and has a decent software editor. Not the best tones, but very good for the price IMO, more metal tones than I need, don't know how good / authentic the high gains sound but they are in there. This will be my first foray into computer recording if I can find the time...I'm doing a small '80s new wave side thing for fun... if I can get my arse in gear, make time and focus!

also hoping Zoom will upgrade the bass B2 to a B2Nu with USB, I'd grab one for bass USB direct recording, but the only one with USB has the integrated pedal (which I would not use for bass, and if it is anythink like the one on my G2.1Nu, not worth it).

A friend of mine just bought one new off Ebay for $380 and a another guy I know bought one over in Jersey off a guy for $375 used.

Nope. You're talking about the Glass Nexus not the Timeline.

I'd sell if you think you can replace it with another unit (I think you can ;) ).
I loved my original Way Huge Aquapuss and Blue Hippo...I loved the $1000 that I got for each of them a lot more :D Even better, the Aqua Puss is reissued for around $150 and sounds exactly the same. If they reissue the Blue Hippo, I can have the same sounds plus $1700.

Did yours ever sell on ebay for that price??
And I think you personally tried an El Capistan how does it compare to the Timeline??
