I suck at online gear deals all of the sudden.

Last 3 online sales: Roland micro cube: destroyed in shipping. Pair of EV's that i bought here, and used for a few months before sellng, arrived with terrible buzzing coming through the cone of one under multiple test situations resulting in me refunding the buyer. SKB road case for the kemper stage: Shipped it to the wrong address (sellers paypal address was different than actual shipping address), which was my mistake. luckily that one got sorted out with a call to fed ex.

I only have a few small things (stray speakers & pedals i don't use) around that i could do with out, but i'm afraid of what horrors await me next.
After 20ish years of doing this, and hundreds of amps, speakers, cabinets, guitars, pedals, pickups, etc packaged and shipped all over the world, I think i'm about done with tape guns, bubble wrap, styrofoam, the smell of cardboard, and hauling around large heavy boxes by myself.

Do they have G.A.S. Anonymous meetings on Zoom yet?

I haven't been doing much gear flipping lately and luckily I've had no bad luck but I sure am reading a lot of people having bad luck.

I've missed out on killer deals...to slow. Just missed a tsl 100 and a 1960a for 800 today.

The tip of the headstock is broken off and a tuner bent. If it didn't have binding I suppose I could sand it down and paint it. USPS has been no help whatsoever.

Meetings? Bro, GAS is so far past the point of talking about it at a meeting, sharing gas experiences with the group , trying to heal via group therapy!!!!’ If anything, it reignites the hunger, hearing of these guys opening packages……..whoa……new guitar…..

Bro!! It’s electro shock therapy or full lobotomy. There is no other way. My 11th wife just left me (I’m only 22 and joined rigtalk at 8 in a desperate hunt to find more gear) because I bought 8 amps and 17 guitars last week. I HAD to have them. Nothing else mattered as the hunger awoke within. I already see FedEx arriving. It can get hairy man. I simply…….lose touch with reality.

Not long ago, I was in the fetal position on the bathroom floor, gently weeping (but in a very tough and manly way), I had just seen the latest and greatest amp, it was so shiny, spectacular in its magnificence, it was so……..beautiful, I have 68 amps, and 249 guitars and it feels like I’ve just scratched the surface. I simply need……..MORE.
