How's the Kemper at doing punchy, ballsy, more articulate and clear tones ala Fender, Hiwatt, and vintage Plexi stuff?
I'm already locked into my next amp, but if that doesn't work out or I get bored, I may be looking at a Kemper. My current favorite rig is a Carl Martin Plexitone pedal into my Straub "Hurdy Gurdy" 2-6L6 head. There are only two in existence and this thing is just awesome. (Fender Blackface by itself, and ballsy plexi with the pedal on). So I plan to keep this amp "forever" (yeah... I know... famous last words) and then find something that I can live with as a gigging amp. But if I ended-up with a Kemper, it would likely be the other way around (gig the Straub and use the Kemper at home).
