I bought an amp a week ago and now i just want to sell it and finally be done buying the Bogner.
Or trade it for one, i just feel really stupid!!!!

I'm on my second 101b and was recently trying to sell it for a Diezel D Moll. But at the end of the day nothing sounds like the Ecstasy. Nothing makes the strings feel so great under your fingers like an Ecstasy. Few amps are as versatile. I say go for it.

Your vids are my fave xtc vids... you get more bite out of that amp than most people do. I don't have the cash for one so I have been thinking of getting one of the JF MTS modular mods. The XTC mod he does gets excellent reviews and I'd sooner take my lynchbox with el34 or 6l6 running that module than the red or blue pedals I think.

Thanks man. I have a long was to go and much to learn. Making vids helps me hear why. Glad you like them. I have fun making them. The Iphone makes the tone thin but you still get the idea

Buying a used one is the way to go , there are so many out there just look for a clean one.

Even though they are 120w beasts they are one of the most friendly channel switcher bedroom amps imo, they sound great at low volume ,the loop is excellent for effects and each channel sounds great (refer to the Bogner forum to set up the clean channel).

I was at a store with a friend trying a few pedals and then we played this amp by mistake.
i was taken by it on the spot and bought it the same day. That is how good it sounds.

It is along with my Redplate MDD the best amp i have ever played...

That said both can do 90% of what the other does.
My MDD has sentimental value (long family story) so i cannot sell it.

I need an amp that is completely the opposite of my MDD and i have been wanting a 101B since 2006 and i always do something stupid when i almost get the money to buy one.

just get one then you wont be happy until you do. I was the same way, didnt really want to spend that much for a head, bought some VHT and Mesa/Boogies + various cabs but eventually ended up with one and still have all of them LOL.

It was the 101B clips from Bob Savage on Bogner's website way back that kept haunting me...I'd give em a listen every couple weeks until I couldn't stand it anymore, bought it in 2004.
