This is Rick Graham, a bad ass guitarist from the UK. He shred so hard it is ridiculous. The dude is so precise, and has great feel for a shredder. He also has these two awesome J Customs. All the newer J Customs I have seen recently had the tree of life inlay on the fretboard and I cant deal with that but he has somehow managed to find a couple with no tree of life. My buddy has a J Custom and I have got to admit, it played amazingly well!! I just did not like the tree of life inlay, so besides saving up for axefx 2, I have to get a non tree of life J Custom. If anyone has one they would like to sell let me know!!!

I want to see pics of your guys Ibanez J Customs!! Some dude on rigtalk picked up a real cool one the other day!!

Definitely love the non-vine inlay J-Customs. You can find more expensive guitars, but I'm not sure you can find better built guitars.

Thanks. J Custom prices, new, have SKYROCKETED over the last few years. Mostly because of the value of the Dollar vs. the Yen. You have to be patient, they come up every now and then at reasonable prices. I got the yellow one from a studio closing in TX and the pink, new, from Meestursparkle direct from Japan. I worked a deal with him privately taking the large internet auction site out of the deal.

Here's my only J.Custom left. Body is from the JC8620 spalted maple, neck is from a JC 8570M and the pickups are BK Rebel Yell. Last pic was my JC collection from a few years ago.

Watch for guitar centers clearance sales they do 2x a year. They ALWAYS have the j customs on clearance during the sales. GC boston and Natick had them during the January clearance for 2300-2500 depending on the model(i.e. 6-7 string and color) Ive thought about buying one during the clearance

Love J.Customs. I'm also watching that purple one on ebay but I think it's going to go for too much. You can get a new one at GC during a sale for that price. I'm not big on the TOL inlay either.
