I picked the s3040pl up around 2004. There are a couple things that seem different though. This was not pearl white, but more ivory. Also, the 5 way switch cover is bronze, not black like the 1997 magazine.

I think I've played ~3 J-Customs and they are as good as it gets! ?

I don’t own any but back in the day got to play almost the majority of the entire J-Custom line as it existed in August of 2000; my buddy Kevan had almost all of them, he might have had all of them at one point, as he desperately tried to get his hands on the RG-EGYPT. He finally got it then almost immediately sold the collection. Haven’t spoken to him in a while, he’s the same dude that came up with the Tremel-No.
