Finally got to see the old Gigantour movie. Wow what a terrible line up for a show. I had to sit thru all of that to get 15 minutes of Megadeth. Ive always wanted to pick up that DVD and Im glad I never did. Megadeth was good even though Ive seen them better. Fear factory was good too. The rest of that show was just plain bad. Lets see if I can remember all the crap bands - Bobaflex  Dry Kill Logic  Nevermore  LOA - seriously? Symphony X - bunch of old dudes making old crappy music And then Dream Theater  I wish DT would put as much energy into songwriting as they do in shredding.

What was Dave thinking?

I just recently watched it also (on Netflix), but I didn't hate it quite as much as you did.

I agree that Bobaflex was just silly and useless. They came out about 10 years too late.

I like some Nevermore but I wasn't impressed with this showing.

Used to like DKL when I was a young'n in my "Nu-Metal" phase, but they're not even the same band anymore. Only one original member???

Of course Megadeth and FF killed it. I like Dream Theater too. :D

The Butt-rock vocals paired with Nu-metal-ish riffing just bugs me I guess

They did in the 90's.....IMO, anyways.

Funny, I just watched it on Netflix yesterday. Gotta say, it was a bummer for me. Also watched the Ozzfest 10th Anniversary and Motley Crue: Carnival of Sins. The highlight of the Ozzfest show for me was Anthrax, Zombie w/ John 5, and Sabbath. It was otherwise crap as well...but at least they left out BLS.
