This amp is a trip. I gotta say if it weren't for a couple of you (@Rex Rocker, @boltzthrower) giving tips, along with a couple of other vids on YT, I would've wrote off this amp as a glorified Metal Zone in an amp chassis. This thing fucking SMOKES! Huge sounding and very throaty. I ran it stereo with the Uber Rev Green and I think I may have created cracks in my walls LOL

So the key thing with this amp like the Krank experts have mentioned is the fact you have to balance out the global master and channel master together to get the tone you're looking for. You really notice it when you put the global master at 3:00 to full blast. It adds a huge amount of thumping, tight bass and dissolves the annoying fizz. The problem with this amp is it is not meant to be a bedroom players amp, unless you have an attenuator. It needs volume, although not ear shattering levels, to show what it can do. The blending of the two volumes fucks it up for low volume bedroom players.

The sweep knob is only useful to tighten up bass, which maybe that is its primary purpose? Its mostly useless past noon as it just thins out your tone too much.

Clean channel is very useable and takes pedals very well.

Some people say the amp is versatile but I stop the buck right there as its far from that. Its only meant to be a chugging machine and it delivers.

I still owe you guys some clips of my Uberschalls comparison so I'll throw this amp in the mix as well since its got some similarities to them.

Even OLA was surprised when he revisited this amp for DIME tones! Congrats!

What tubes does it have? I've heard the ones with 6550's were the best!
Sovtek 6L6's and EHX12AX7 pre's. I changed out V1 to a chinese 9th gen. It added a little bit more gain but didn't change the tone much.

now i gotta grab one lol
You won't regret it. Its pretty unique. It has mostly a rectifier sound to it but with characteristics from Marshall and a 5150 but it also has its own thing going. It has a very unique scratchy attack that makes it very aggressive sounding. It responds to different boosts very well and depending on which one you use, it gets downright fkn brutal. I'm really digging this amp. Its going to for sure be my full time blending amp on my recordings.

That sounds like an interesting blend, looking forward to clips. I’d like to grab a krank cab at some point to go with my Kerry king head

Congratulations and enjoy the hell outta that, man!
