i would beware of all these "untested" and "nos" tubes people are selling on reverb.

I know i probably don't need to tell you guys this, but yeah...tons of individuals are selling their old / extra tubes for new prices under the banner of "untested" or "nos" or whatever all over the gear sale sites. let those auctions sit unless you're desperate, cuz its a flimsy ass way to take advantage of the situation.

Agree.. I'm seeing people who have no knowledge of tubes or amps listing this crap to see what they can get... pathetic. Used garbage that was discarded years ago in boxes being sold without shame

It seems NOS now means "any old, unavailable tube". Lots of folks calling plain old used tubes as NOS.

It means NEW Old Stock!
