Assuming it's the Jem777DY which is popular and prices have gone up a lot. But there are a lot of variables and being as collectible as they are condition really matters. Without knowing more, something beat may possibly fetch $3K+ but it really depends.

I had a 1990 JEM777DY that was absolutely beat to hell and back. Chips on the sides, scratches on the back, neck pocket cracks, everything that can happen to a JEM/RG. I just looked it up and I had it listed for $2200 5 years ago and I think I took a local offer for about $1,700+/-. I'm looking up prices now and seeing they're going anywhere between $3500-4500? Jeez that hurts my feelings.

I think there's a Jem Forum around somewhere. I'm sure they'd offer pretty good money for something like that

If you add one of these to the monkey grip it increases the value by $10k

Man, you can most likely still get pretty far above a “sane” price just because of how limited it is. It’s faded with some chips but it’s not destroyed. I bet that’d sell in under a week at $4K but you could probably get more holding out at $5K until someone wanted it enough.

This was the one I wanted 36 years ago. I thought about it all the time like hot chicks. I would have put body parts in that monkey grip. I settled on the RG760 . Not even close to satisfying my gas back then. I still think about it.
