LOVE every one of these! Is the Eddie striped pickguard also photo paper? That damn pink J-Custom tho...

Yes, clear pickguard and photo paper. Cannot for the life of me remember where I got them. Pretty easy to replicate though. Put whatever you want under there.

Yeah, the J Customs were hard to let go of, but did not get played. My affinity towards the Original Edge has me play the RG550 reissues.

original RG from '87
not sure what I was thinking
got a white one from the Genesis line coming, and will be a tad more tasteful when modded

where does one get a swirl pickguard as seen above?
damn, there I go again

He used clear pick guards and then put photo paper underneath. I am going to explore this for sure. Here is a place to order clear guards...

And I am actually REALLY digging the clear guards just by themselves!

Love RG's! Some mighty fine ones in this thread. :)

I have three, which may seem redundant, but they're each sporting totally different specs to justify it lol   ...

I like Ibanez, I just don't play them because the thin necks aren't my preference. But this thread is making me want to buy an RG.

I love Ibanez, I've modded almost every single one I've owned. Can I post a ton?

I really need to take some nice, professional pictures, but here’s my old 1997 RG Custom. I absolutely love the color. It looks damn close to black until light shines on it. I swapped out my black hardware for gold, and took out the EMG 81/85 I installed 20 years ago and switched back to some passive Burstbuckers...

After gold trem/pickup rings...
