I love the Iron Man set. The bridge sounds fierce for rhythm tones, while both the bridge and neck sing for leads.
It's a great option for a bright sounding guitar. The bridge Iron Man especially has a wicked growl and really kicks you in the balls.

How do you like the Iron Man neck compared to the Godwood neck?

The higher I tune, the more I like the Iron Man neck. For lower tunings I prefer a bit brighter a neck pickup to compensate for the darker tone that detuning and thicker strings creates. So one of my E/Drop D and one of my D/Drop C guitars have the Iron Man neck. And one of my C/Drop B guitars has a Godwood Neck. And likewise if the guitar is too dark sounding, then a brighter neck pickup is a better fit.

But I think I smile more broadly when the guitar warrants an Iron Man Neck. It's just so powerful and juicy.

Right on man. I don't think there's any other extreme output pickup like it. I've tried some extreme output models by Bare Knuckle and Dimarzio, and the Iron Man smokes them.

I'll have a couple of extreme Motor City bridge pickups soon to compare to the Iron Man bridge. It'll be interesting to see how they stack up.
