Ibanez Soundtank & ToneLok pedal footswitch fix

Both my flanger and phaser work flawlessly now due to this fix. C3 on both circuit boards. The phaser was a piece of cake (both to identify and replace the capacitor) and the flanger was a bit more difficult for both due to the proximity of the capacitor to several other components. Anyway, if you can solder at all pick up one of these excellent sounding pedals and give it a cheap fix!

TS-5 is my favorite Tubescreamer, I’ll have to dig one up and give this a try. I think they all had funky switching. Thanks for the heads up!!

Sorry for the necro-bump, but, @MadAsAHatter do you happen to have the schematic for the CF7 Chorus as well?

I have one with the switch problem (red LED just blinks momentarily) and if the correct capacitor to replace is known, I'm all ears.

Unfortunately I don't have a good schematic for that one. Best I can say is the footswitch is usually on a separate smaller board for the 7 series pedals. Maybe you could follow the trace on the physical board.

Well, after opening it up, and seeing there were like 6 PCB's or so, I put it aside, since that was gonna be a hassle. But, then I actually used contact spray and after a good 40-50 pushes, it came back to life.
