...what other amps come to mind with the same kind of feel and vibe?
Thanks.

boosted jcm 800,, only you would have more full bandwidth in the middle and on the top- not just a blunted tone

IMO the Bogner Ecstasy blue channel us kinda its own animal. Yeah it gets a killer classic rock tone thats not to far from Marshall but not exactly the same. Check out various Marshalls or the Laney VH100r

wrong answer

VHT 50 CL with the boost and EQ on. The VHT is a bit clearer but sort of close. I love using both the 101 B Blue channel with the VHT green channel at the same time

EVH 5153 blue channel...there's a couple YT clips.

IMO some Egnater Stuff like his old SL2 and EG3 modules

I would have to say a Marshall or Roccaforte Custom 40. To me it's a really British/Marshall type thing. I personally don't dig it too much and for me if it doesn't sound good before the boost it's kinda like when someone says "I'll fix it in the mix". Really? I want it to just sound good from the start. I actually jammed on my Ecstasy Classic for a good while yesterday and the blue channel was just meh! In fact a friend was over and we were comparing a bunch of amp tones and he thought the VHT Deliverance 120 sounded way better than the Ecstasy blue channel and the VHT was on the Less setting.

Send me some blue channel settings to try. I usually have the output class switch at A the sound style to new and the power to full. Maybe I'm missing something. Mine has great glass and I even did the cameron mod to it. Red channel sounds sweet.

Try full power instead of class A. And turn it up. The blue channel is nice, it just needs some volume.

Carvin Legacy will get you there but a little darker (I think)
