If he's not available EVH. For me he has the whole package with tech/gear/song writing/rhythm/lead/entertainer/spontaneity/enjoyment. Everything that I would want to emulate.

The guys ability to play a lot of different styles has always blown me away.
 
Any of the above..something could be learned :D Andy Wood and John 5 are two very tremendous diverse players on the american side of modern players. Tom Quails is a legato beast and Guthrie Govan..is a monster on the european front. Old school..Randy Rhoads, Hendrix, Page, Moore, Malmsteen, Landau, etc..would all be awesome. Roy Clark and Danny Gatton too.. Brent Mason would be awesome..
