That's because all your stuff is crap. I'll be glad to take it off your hands for the great price of $2.50 ship.T.

On a serious note, are you bored of gear or actually playing? How are you bored with your gear if it's just that? You don't feel like playing through your gear, or you're disappointed?

Just do what I do... Buy a lot of gear that you don't deserve, and invite killer players down to use it...

I'm a firm believer in quitting the band if you just can't get into it. That's me though. I know some people like to push themselves and "make it work." What you might be interested in doing is trying to discover some new music to help spark your interest again. Have you listened to much of Johnny Hiland? Guthrie Govan? Mattias "IA" Eklundh? I think if you found a great guitarist who did something that's a bit different from what you're used to listening, it could very well spark your interest again. :)

You're full of good points tonight. For that, you get a picture of a wigger doing what wigger's do best, looking tough.

I haven't really gotten into a "new to me" style of music ever. I'm still stuck in the '70s and '80s when it comes to that. I actually don't even listen to music much, besides what I hear on the radio.

I dunno mang... Just bored and kinda bummed at the moment, I guess.

Awwww, thank you. Thank you. I don't know what to say.... I'd like to thank my family, my producer, my supporters, my....

But yeah, try asking advice on some killer players and see what you can find by searching youtube. The 3 I listed are good starters.

I have some pretty cool stuff at the moment (listed below) that can cover alot of ground. It's all pretty high quality stuff, but I'm just bored with everything... Sigh. I hate being in this kind of mood.

Guitars:
- EBMM Axis Super Sport (hardtail)
- EBMM Steve Morse Sig (hardtail)
- US Fender Telecaster

Amps/Cabs:
- Budda SuperDrive 45 (head and/or 2x12" combo with G12H30s)
- Mesa Rectoverb head
- Bogner Uber 4x12" cab (w/V30s and G12T75s)
- Antone Stubby 2x12" cab (w/G12H30s)

Effects:
- Rocktron Intellifex LTD
- Furman PQ3 Parametric EQ
- MI Audio Blue Boy Deluxe OD
- EH Deluxe MemoryMan Delay/Chorus

I don't have alot of crap laying around, as I sold some extra stuff off lately. But I'm just bored with everything. lol... Nothing sounds GREAT to me nowadays.

Has anyone else been in the same mood lately?

Any time I get in that mood I try to learn a new instrument. Then when I fail miserably I come crawling back to guitar and everything sounds new again :D

Bro Marshall just put out two heads that seem very promising. I'm talking about the JVM and MV of course.

Also stop playing for a few days. Comeback to it when the fire is lit again.

Hey Thump, if you're bored of the Intellifex I'll glady buy it from you. It's the Blackface model right?

And GRAGH i get soo sick when i see douchebag wiggers sportin a Yankee hat. I love to try to talk baseball with them since most asshats like that don't know jack about the Yankees before 1996. Hell, i run into people who have a hard time telling me who's on the team past Jeter and A-rod. :x

Ya know, I actually just went through 1 1/2 years gigging on bass. I thought I was ready to get back to guitar, but now I wonder. I had a good 'ole time playing bass (that was my second 1 1/2 year stint gigging on bass.)

I think I'll go the Tuba route this time, though. That sounds like fun.

Well, I just bought myself a USB MIDI Keyboard. I've been playing around with Reason 3 and it's badass :D Completely different animal from what I'm used to... now if I could just get my fucking hands to play nice together...

Yep - I went (back) to playing drums because of it ;)

That said, the JVM might be the ticket to a one-size-fits-all Marshall - I hope.

Hey Chris,
I went through something very similar this last year. I went through a lot of gear, well for me its a lot of gear. I would like the stuff for a week sometimes a few days and it would just get boring and not sound good. I realized it was because I left a band I loved and had a ball playing and I am uninspired by my current band situation. I left my other band because I moved. You might just look at your current situation and if its not working find another band.

Skin FLute.....classic....!

Oh...that Purple charvel is killer!!!!

i find that i'm uninspired by my current playing situation. there are decent musicians around.. but trying to put together something i can really sink my teeth into has been easier said than done lately.
one cover band i'm in are decent enough guys and play tunes people can dance to.. but the material isn't challenging.
the other cover band i'm in are also decent enough guys.. but the bass player thinks that because he has the clubhouse he should also run sound.
the problem is that he doesn't know how to mix and he has job related hearing loss. 30 years as an operating engineer will do that.
i found a decent bass player once.. but he moved out of the area.. so i guess if i want to play i just have to keep on keeping on.
i'm more inspired when i'm playing with other musicians as opposed to backing tracks which really don't do much for me.
