Half of the shit I write is pentatonic, though no one would call it blues, lol. I am actually planning on making a new song today. Wont be blues though. I dont have enough talent to do blues. Only knuckle dragging metal rhythm

It's not a scale. If you think of blues that way, you'll never get it. It's deceptively simple, yet you have to come up with interesting phrasing and tone. IMO anyway.
