I don't quite understand all the Geoff Tate bashing? So the guy lost his phone - so what! I use to sneak a 35mm camera w/lenses into concerts back in the 70's/80's knowing there was a good chance that it could be confiscated... That was half the fun of doing it! Better to have a band member take it from you than some fat security guy who reeks of Dorito's and Papst Blue Ribbon.![]()

If your saying "Faster Pussycat" in the same breath as talking about vintage QR......yeah, you don't get it! Tate probably thought he was playing a little with the dude and had thrown it closer to him then he did. Either way, dick move.
As for Queensryche, I've had to admit that Tate did actually have an impressive voice.. as for the band though, nothing there to really hook me in. I don't like a lot of their tunes. I think Jet City Woman is probably their best tune so clearly I don't get it. Queen of the Reich is one of the biggest piece of shit songs I have ever heard personally. I'm surprised someone signed them in the first place with that effort. Then again, tons of crappy bands got signed (Faster Pussycat lol) so not sure I made a valid point!
