The food is fresh, natural, pretty much never frozen, no more than 72 hours old or has additives and BS or chemicals added to it.......
I guess your just used to the opposite of that
We don’t really have fast food joints in my area, the tourists want the bougie chef owned bullshit restaurants.
So I’m hard pressed to find a burger that isn’t grass fed angus blah blah.
I would compare in and out to any stadium snack bar fare if I had to make a comparison.

Harry and Esther Snyder transformed the way food was made and how it was made and brought to customers.
Having served in WWll Mr. Snyder got the idea for the drive-thru from his military service and from the communication/radio boxes the Navy used.
Not only did the Snyders innovate food and the industry but they brought food to higher standards and quality making sure food was never frozen and had a 72 hour turn around making sure it was fresh, natural to provide only the best for their customers.
Many times they were asked why not expand or franchise the business to make more money but they wouldnt as to make sure to always strive to have the highest quality and standards they could for their customers. Later In-N-Out would grow but only if the standards and quality could be maintained and that came first before money for customers.
Mr. Snyders military work ethic and hustle mentality was also a part of the business and where the uniform of In-N-Out comes from inspired by men and women in uniform. Every employee is thaught to work at their best, fastest and highest level of standard to insure customers only get the best and highest quality service.
It was never about money and it was always about community, quality and providing the best service and standards for customers and paying thanks to the country/America and the state of California he and his wife loved so very much........... Thats what In-N-Out is all about.

Fair but yeah I mean I feel old now but I come from a time where yeah In-N-Out was fastfood but there werent 500+ restaurants or who knows how many there are now
In-N-Out was the place the cops went, firefighters, the skateboarders went too, the kids after school and the real hardworking people doing carpentry or others like doctors and nurses went to get a great meal at a great price and always the best........ black, white, asian, hispanic or whatever...... poor or rich....... everyone agreed In-N-Out was the best..... it was good and it was wholesome.
My 5 year old ass would go to one of the originals here off Imperial in La Habra CA to get 10 Burgers, 10 fries and shakes and sodas for all the carpenters and the forman back to the shop my Dad worked in 1995....... the ladies and men there never knew how I did it and hell I dont know how the hell I did it but I would all on my own in one trip walking half a block back to the shop from the In-N-Out.......
In-N-Out isnt just some place for real Californians...... In-N-Out is the place for a lot of us and well there arent a lot of things more wholesome or Californian than In-N-Out short of muscle cars and the beaches or Fender guitars and amps.....
Plus trust In-N-Out probably has better quality and standards than many of those Michelin Star/Top Chef BS places anywhere..... having worked some top places...... yeah seriously even Chef Ramsay would have a hard time keeping up with the standards at In-N-Out on a consistent basis at multiple locations....... they are simply not only the best in the food industry but the best amongst industries in general from cars to rockets or whatever the hell else IMO.

But yeah its just sad and dissapointing that HQ is moving our of California.
As said ImO Lyndsi is Making a huge mistake and this move spits at the face of her grandparents legacy for a few cheap dollars…….
