Wow dude! Talk about a non stop barrage of awesome riffs! I love that shit! Totally dug all of them AND it sounded so sweeeeet! Still gassing for a Wizard but after I do my taxes this weekend that may change lol. Mike you really need to get into the home recording thing and get some drums and bass on them.

Awesome riffs. You should think about selling some to Metallica. They need your help ;)

Nice riffs. Metallica desperately needs help. Lol. To me they died after ...And justice

Well, if there is something Metallica have never lacked, is riffs.

Even the ones on St. Anger are awesome.

Wow !! That sounds so tight and clear !! What transformer has ya MC2 with?

V transformers. Yeah I've toyed with the idea of grabbing a PS, but honestly I can play as loud as I want. Still would like to see what one of those gadgets does for a cranked amp.

 You can tell how tight that wiz is

The amp is definitely tight, but not that tight. That was boosted with a Buxom boost ;) I use ODs with everything; what can I say.

Yeah but what I mean, is there’s amps I have to boost to play metal. The wiz doesn’t need a boost IMO.
Some guys like to boost everything though.

Just to know... isnt the wizard MC2 tight enough for metal ? Ie tighter than a VHT/Fryette UL ?

I think my MC2 and MC are tight enough for metal. I just tried a Fryette CLX and it did not have near the saturation which was disappointing. I knew it would be tight and dry - but didn't think it be that dry. I could live with it and adapt if needed but there are too many other options out there.
Surprisingly,to me, my Mesa JP2C, in some ways, is just as tight if not a little more than the Wizards.

Whether the MCII is tight enough is a matter of taste. I will say it's a very tight/direct amp, but For me it's more the attack and saturation that leads me to use a boost. I like the added compression/attack the OD adds to the feel of the amp. But then again I like a more narrowed laser beam focused tone which many others would call neutered/thin.

I agree it's tight enough for most metal, it's more the attack and added saturation/compression from the OD that gets it perfect for my taste. But that's been the case for me with every amp I've owned except the Engl Savage 120. That is the only amp I've owned that I did not need an OD up front.

Tight as fak....tnx for sharing

Thanks dude!

On a side note, I just threw KT77s in the Wizard and as expected they sound phenomenal.
