I keep it short. I orderd one of these....Who has one? Thoughts and opinions?
The E-II's all have the trap door on them, LTDs have a separate battery cavity. Is there a trap door to access the 9 Volt or is it in the cavity
I had an eye on these Jacksons (and others) too, but i was a bit hesitant. Maybe it sounds silly, but i don't like the Softcases. Go grab an E-2 then, when you have the chance.don't have one, but played an H-H version at GC a few months ago and liked it better than the Jackson american soloists. Strong gas ever since!!
The Arrow is also nice, but maybe a bit too light...and since i have a V-2 Standard...I will. The 2 other guitars i ordered in the last 2 months were this and an Gibson Les Paul Custom Standard (which funnily enough was too heavy and the Pickups was too vintage for me". You did not aks, but now you know.Taking a hard look at the Arrow.
Guys in here speak highly of the E-II brand.
Let us know what you think.
It's only once a year. That's ok. You can put a new Battery in it, when you change Strings. I also do that once a year.I have flirted with this guitar a lot. I like EMGs but hate having to put a battery in my guitar, and the volume pot is in the wrong position for me, but other than those two things, this guitar is perfect
Trap-Door. But the clip inside my ESP-V2 became loose. I had to fix it with a strong double sided tape...Is there a trap door to access the 9 Volt or is it in the cavity
Yes. That might be an issue. A flatter dome knob might be the solution, but we'll see.Man you'd think by now or 30 years ago companies would move the friggin' volume knob out the way....the struggle most of us know![]()
Fair enoughEvery E-II I've played has been awesome. I'd have one of these if it was a stop tail instead of string through.
Yeah. Can't think of a better one on the market. The E-II's all have the trap door on them, LTDs have a separate battery cavity.
These M-1s are great and have been a solid value since they started selling them, hard to beat imo.
