I use an amp on stage and my singer is looking to play more electric rhythm guitar in our shows. I have no experience with modelers and don’t wanna spend too much time programming things.
I’m looking at units that go direct to PA and sound good to great: again, it’s more to back me up when I play lead. Just plug into the unit, I do the PA, and jam. We play rock and hard rock. I was looking at units like:
Atomic Firebox
POD 500x
Sansamp Fly Rig RK5
Mooer Red Truck
Nux Cerberus
He’s an acoustic player and I’m a tube amp simpleton. Does anyone have experience trying to achieve a good rhythm guitar tone without an amp and are these suggestions above able to hit the mark?
