Insert Facepalm here: Herbert with 2 cabs?

I am retarded...Mostly because I Just haven't done this in years but...With the herbert and 2 16 ohm cabinets, how should I wire this? 1 cable from the herbert 8ohm speaker out to the cabinets 16 ohm speaker input correct? For the record, it is 2 VHT 4x12 cabinets.

insert face palm for me as well. I am just curious, how does the it sound running the VHT Fatbottom and the Deliverance at the same time?

I can get a rarely used Deliverance for pretty cheap and I am already running my VH4 through a Fatbottom (which rocks!!)

sigma...the Deliverance is my favorite cabinet of all time!! I absolutely love it. Chances are you, depending on your tastes, you will LOVE the D cab...It is bigger, less beamy, more 3d, and just swirls around you with the sound. I can't decide which cab I'm going to use with the Herbie. It sounds so great through my D cab, and is more the herberts "style" I guess you could say. The Ultralead sounds amazing through my D cab though too, I may sell the fatbottom and get another D cab I don't know yet. Do a search on my name and youll see my review of both cabs with the herbert, I'll see if I can find it!

I just played a D cab today that was bought and sold to Guitar suck Center cause the guy needed money. He had it for 2 weeks at most and OMG I am in love.

I lost hard haha. If only i had the money.. only $700 bucks... the same as what I payed for my Fatbottom.. why did my insurance company decide to bend me over and fuck me so hard that my family could feel it for generations at the end of the year? Perfect timing? No. Those bastards decided it was ok to up my insurance from $90 to $240 for the next three months and then it will go back down after February to $130.. I'm sorry but I don't think they should be able to pro-rate me (or whatever it is) towards the end of my policy if I have been paying $90 for almost 2 years.. no accidents or tickets ever... I am pretty much paying for a Lancer Evolution's insurance even though I drive a normal Lancer... my only option? Kill them so I can afford to pay some bills and buy that D cab

Fryette make killer cabinets. And if you break the P50e speaker quad in effectively (and patiently), they'll reward you with amazing tone.

Just saying.

Of course, Diezel cabs are build like tanks and don't take prisoners WHATsoever either

Told ya sigma! Just a perfect cabinet, My absolute favorite. I can NOT stand V30s at all...I try to explain my disgust for V30s like this:

You know how when people smoke (I don't, but I often see this with people who do) and they are just so used to it, but then when they quit, and they can't even stand to be around a person outside who smokes? This is the case for me with V30s. After I bought a cabinet without them, every time I would hear them, I just could NOT stand them, with ANY head for that matter. I had the same phenomenon when going from EMG's to passives...However, I very much do like EMGs (and blackouts even more) for 7 strings, and low tunings

Anyways, getting off track here. Glad you liked it sigma, sorry to fuel your GAS!!!!!!! Did you say you DID play the herbert with it or no?

I agree with you 100% on that! those P50E's that are loaded in my F and in that D cab are beautiful speakers! love em oh and good job! smoking is bad! I tried it once and ended up in the hospital after coughing up blood. my lungs are healthy, but can't handle any form of smoke

I also agree with actives to passives. I will only use em for drop tuned and 7 strings. hell, even now I am in drop D down a half step and I couldnt stand actives with that!

I am thinking of, sadly, selling the F cab for the D cab but they are both so good.

I actually only tried it with my VH4... not many Diezel's out here in Colorado. I know one other person with one and his is the Herbert. He says, there might be one other dude out here with a Diezel haha.

dont worry about fueling my GAS!! It gives me something to look forward to in the near future!

This is the man right here who convinced me and helped me make my choice of buying the VHT cab! (older one back when Fryette was still VHT).

is breaking the P50E in effectively (and patiently) what you told me about after playing them at a decent volume around 40 hours? or is there more too it?
