Canare GS-6 with Neutrik ends.

This for me as well. I've wired my entire rig with this. Can make them in whatever length and configuration I want.

So many choices and tough to choose.

I need to buy a few patch cables for some pedals.

Not sure what to get, probably will go with Mogami because of the reputation and because Guitar Center gives a lifetime warranty.

Just got a couple Planet Wave American Stage.
Really like them.

These guys are THE BEST! Great cable, great service, great price! I went through so many expensive "booteek" cables over the years until I found BTPA.

http://btpa.com/High-Definition/

I also order my MIDI and other cables from them as well.

Canare GS-6 with Neutrik ends. Good quality and in my price range. Some people say the Canare stuff sounds a little dark, but I think they're splitting hairs.
+1

Just checked out this place, they say their cables will outperform Canare Gs-6 with 1/2 the capacitance.

Sounds like a winner but the site is hard to follow.

I was looking at pedal cables and the site stated that the size of the cables are based off of the roman number next to the item # in inches.

All of the pedal cables are II.

That means they are 2 inch cables? I guess I wouldnt need much more than that for pedals right next to each other would I?

Evidence. When a/bing cables you'll notice different frequencies coming through. However, it's nothing tweaking your EQ can't usually do.

No ... you specify the length when you order ... click on the model name and that takes you to the page where you choose length, I think 6 inches is the shortest.

Have you tested the Hi-def cables vs the Evidence cables that they offer?

Also what about the flat head connectors vs the regular or gold?

Those flat ones look cool but are they inferior otherwise?

No, I haven't ... sorry. Cables I used live in the past are: George L's, Lava Stage Connect, Vovox Sonorus, countless Monster and off-the-shelf store bought brands ... etc.

Hi-Def sound and work just as good for 1/4 of price.

No idea about the plugs .. I think they are all comparable, I prefer the Gold Neutrik ones based on looks only and strain relief where cable meets the plug.

Awesome, thanks for posting and for the help.

I'm gonna pick up a couple of these.

PS ... just added a note about the plugs right after you quoted me ... LOL

Planet Wave cables and Amphenol seem to work for me.

However no matter what brand I use, I still have trouble with guitar leads coiling up. I even had a Lava Soar cable that's supposed to be strong and stiff to prevent coiling- and the bloody thing coiled so much that the plug snapped off!

Used Mogami for several years with no issues but recently moved on to ultra high-end Yokohata Diamond for guitar to board. Super expensive but well worth the price. The clarity and dynamics are unbelievable.

I mostly use Mogami instrument cables and speaker cables although my main board has EA SIS cable.

I haven't made the purchase yet that I was going to. One of my friends suggest that we are just crazy people on here :)

He said since I'm only currently using 3 pedals and potentially 6 max that it's not going to make a difference and that I should just buy some cheaper patch cables and call it a day.

So what do the crazies think about that?
