America wants ownership and access to territory and resources in the Middle East. This is why Israel was created in 1948, and Palestine has shrunk in the years since.

The formation of Hamas was a guaranteed reaction, which has never been a bad thing for the USA/Israeli Coalition, because now there’s a bad guy.

Iran funds Hamas.
Hezbollah, Syria, Yemen and various extremist religious offshoots have either already or will express support for Iran.

America will attempt to do what it did to the Taliban post 2001, under the same pretences and as many wasted American lives. The only real difference is that the Iran probably does have WMD’s, unlike Afghanistan.

According to Israeli social security data the final death toll is 695 Israeli civilians, 373 security forces and 71 foreigners. And as I've argued Israel is likely responsible for the majority of civilian casualties due to their implementation of the 'Hannibal directive'. I'm not claiming that Hamas or other armed groups didn't commit war crimes, but framing the whole thing as an act of terrorism instead of a military campaign justifiable under the Geneva Conventions is propaganda in order to justify 'whatever' because 'terrorism', as that simplistic narrative shuts off thinking for people such as yourself. Hamas and hezbollah and Iran all have a long history of targeting civilians. Believing some wacked out shit you read on Wikipedia in order to call murdering civilians ( which there is plenty of video proof of) a legitimate military action is called sympathizing with terrorists.

You're conflating issues. I'm not sure if you're doing it deliberately or just aren't capable of carefully and objectively evaluating the matter. I'll grant that it is somewhat complicated and emotional, but you otherwise strike me as up to the task 🤷‍♂️

Not really. You literally just tried to justify Hamas killing and kidnapping large numbers of Israeli civilians. Which is why the shit that’s happening right now is happening. No 10/7, no US bombs dropped on Iran.
