Is a JCM900 MKIII 2100 just a JCM800 with a Jose mod?

The DSL is in a completely different league as the 900, though. At least the one I've tried.

The depth button really helped it. And how they later turned it into a depth knob was even better. I wish they would've done that on the original UK run.
