Is anyone still using the Egnater Mod50 or 100?

Just pissed off the neighbors with my mod50...Not a toy cranked 1/2 way through a 2x12! SL2x and SL(for cleaner tones) and a les paul puts a smile on my face :)

Oh, btw, I just picked up a second MOD50 on Friday (HNAD for me!) and grabbed Brent's COD module after 'broknstuff' bought his MOD100 unloaded.

Hmm, I guess people still are using the Eggie MOD50 and MOD100.......um, maybe it's because they are PHENOMENAL amplifiers?

haha that's awesome! Glad it worked out great for both of us.

I've wanted to try and egnater stereo thing the one day my friend brought his rebel over and we ran that with the mod50. Actually I was going to first try to get a second m4, so I could have all the modules to chose from at a buttons notice with the mod50. But then when the chance to get a mod100 came up, I knew I couldn't resist or go wrong. Mod50 + Mod100 + m4 + switchblade muahahahha. Now I can still have the ability to chose any module I want, and mix and match them in stereo, or do a wet/dry etc. Also, if a friend ever comes by to jam, they won't have to bring over their amp.

The COD module is A LOT of fun! It's the one that feels the most different from any other module, almost like playing it's own instrument in a good way. It definitely forces you to play better too, no hiding any slop behind that. It's fantastic.

I got a feeling we're both going to love our stereo rigs :rawk:

Got a mod100 incoming, wahooooo! I had 3 modules lying around that had no home, so now they'll have a place to sleep soundly at night

Congrats Diego, you'll love the MOD100.

yeah, i use all my stuff with a switchblade gl.

awesome unit.

Another happy MOD100 user here. Been with it now for 5 years and there is no end in sight.

OP: the absence of a hoopla over the Egnater modular line means nothing. I think that modular users are probably just tired of talking about their amps and modules... I know I am. Now I just focus on getting the best out of my rig that I can.

BTW, I'm glad for you that you found your tone!

I wanted to apologize for the things I said in this thread. I was in a really bad mood, had some rough things going on and said things I did not mean to say. I take it all back! The Mod 50/100 are great amps, built well and sound great!
Even though I really like the amps I have now, I sometimes m iss the Mod 50.

If I were to ever look at getting another Mod series, it would be a 100 however or maybe the Randall R4/RT2/50/2 rig since it sounds a little more to my liking. Sounded more full and punchy than my Mod 50 and that way I wouldn't have to worry about the line level loop. :)

Again sorry, didn't mean the BS I said!

Instead of the thousand words above, I should have just put this picture:
