Back to my original question. Been liking the Two Rock clips I've heard, but I'm somewhat disappointed that they have a "website" and "stores" that sell their gear. I was hoping for something a bit more boutique, but I'm really liking having the same amps as John Mayer! That guy rules! Also, I remember we were recently discussing the merits of the Dumble used by the metal band Timbuk 3, on their hit song "Future So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades." I'm so glad I wasn't alone on that one, and the rest of my Gear Page buds agreed on how great the tone on that song was! It's what got me starting playing but I think $90K is just too much to spend on an amp, especially since my P&W board needs some work.

TAG's departure from TGP was extremely troubling and cast a shadow across many of our hearts. I recall that the news broke the weekend of the announcement of Kenny Loggins' "Dancing With Three Feet" tour and it just sucked out all the excitement. I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but to be banned simply for pointing out that the chinos at Banana Republic didn't come close to the quality of those offered at J. Crew was a bit much. Lesson learned, no debate on peg pants there!

That video, sadly, reminded me of the better times - but I am now concerned since TAG apparently thinks Two Rocks are too buzzy?!?! Are they too buzzy??? I don't like Red Plate since they are the "Crimson Tide of Amps" - is there more of a "UVA of amps"?

You should be fine over here. Only real difference between RT and TGP , is that TGP lifts their pinky finger off of the snifter when drinking Kool-Aid, and RT drinks it right out of a twist cap bottle.

Unfortunately the Gear Page is down for renovation, and I'm in quite the kerfuffle!

I have this way awesome gig coming up for our bi-monthly lawyer get together, and I'm looking to nail that early to mid Christopher Cross tone. Now, I'd like to go boutique, but wondering if it's ok to go big box and just pickup a run-of-mill Two Rock. Should I get two, you know, for stereo?

Also, I just ordered 4 of the new Deluxe Memory Man 1100 MS Tap Tempo Delay pedals and I'm wondering if I did something silly since they each cost $1100. Do you think that's too much for a delay?
