Is there a way to get feedback using two notes torpedo live?

I’ve been doing a lot of Guns N’ Roses using a 1987 silver jubilee, two notes torpedo live, and headphones. My cab is currently unplugged FYI

I play most of the time at night when my son is sleeping.

Is there anyway that I can achieve feedback without using a cab? Can I hook up a can and get feedback from the pickups without actual sound coming from my cab?

Or is there’s another way to do it?

Today there was a slash rig rundown and they talked about how Slash gets his feedback using a hidden cab on stage.

They also talked about how they did it in the studio using a combo amp somehow, honestly it’s over my head lol.

Any help would be awesome!

You're gonna need to have sound getting to the pickups. That's going to involve a speaker somewhere in your chain. I've gotten feedback in the studio by cranking the monitors and standing near them while tracking. But feedback usually involves some volume at some point.

Ah crap...
Guess I’ll just have to live without it

Thanks for the reply

Well there is the Freqout pedal... I'm thinking of picking one up if I can find a deal for black friday etc for the same reasons you mentioned. Would be cool to be able to have feedback for silent jamming

There´s also the Sustainer pickups, if you can live with a different neck pickup. They have a harmonic drive mode that works great as replacement for feedback. It´s what Def Leppard have been using onstage and in the studio since they started using Palmer DIs twenty years ago.
