I am not sure exactly what it is but this guitar I feel I must have. It just seems amazing to me.

Alder Dinky shape body

Quartersawn Maple Neck/Ebony Board

PAF PRO neck, FS-1 DP110 single coil middle and Super Distortion bridge

Floyd Rose (I guess to some this could be a reason not to buy)

Sick AF!!! I want one too! :D :D :D

Not sure I like the red pickups and wish it didn't have a middle pu but it's damn near perfect.

LOL! I love middle position tones but a physical pickup in the middle messes me up picking. The only reason I just passed on an Edwards "Budokan" Ace Freely style Les Paul. I suppose I could just drop it really low...

The guitar in the OP is rad looking though.

I hear you man, everyone has their preference. I have adapted from time to time so no big deal for me I guess.

I have had a few H-S-H guitars and still own an Ibanez S540 with that but now I have the H-H Horizon and have gotten very used to it.

I actually for some reason have an easier time with pinch harmonics on the guitars with the single coil middle even though it is not in use when I am doing them.

Aint no thang but a chicken wang on a strang.

To each their own..For me this guitar is near perfect. I think I would prefer a Hipshot bridge BUT I do need a new and solid guitar with a Floyd so it would work out.

I drop all my middle pickups as far as they will go! I hit those stupid things with my pick. Must just be my technique. :D

LOL! Or our lack thereof!

As long as you don't care about the shiny spots that will easily start to appear and are very visible.

I think I need this. Please quit sharing gas inducing guitars, I am trying to save for a new turbo kit

Ah man...I tried hooking up the ride. After $1,500 and saying wow that could have got me a sweet guitar or amp I stopped.

Why and how? Something about the finish?

yeah. Satin/matte finishes can be prone to shiny spots where your arm comes into contact with the body a lot.

I had a Custom Shop Primer Scream in black Satin. Man that thing got shiny spots just looking at it. Black shows it the most.
Not everyone cares about that though but I get the feeling you do :D It's just the price you pay with a Satin finish. There is no way to get rid of the glossy spots once they are there aside from a respray. You can polish it to a gloss but it will look like shit. You will see some use steel wool to make it satin again. All that will do is make a million tiny scratches.
Look at the Knob and below the pickups. It has the same kind of spot where your arm rests. Doesnt take much to get this glossy effect. Not trying to deter you. Just wanted to be sure you know what you are getting into. Click the pic to blow it up

That's what makes me think it's a MIM.
