Yeah didn't see a Leslie either. If you want the B3 sound, you'll want a B3, C3 or A100. The C3 is pretty much a B3 but is aesthetically different. The A100 is basically a B3 but with built in speakers. The A100 last I checked can be had cheaper than a B3/C3. Not sure if they have gone up in price in the last few years.
I've got a Nord Lead 3 that does some very convincing B3/Leslie sounds, but yeah... I'd love to have the real thing. There was a famous pianist/organist who converted a B3 by installing a digital modeling synth into the Hammond housing. Who it was, I don't recall? May have been Billy Powell.

One of my first URBEX adventures was a house that my parents lived in before I was born. I didn't get a chance to go inside, because "the owner" came out and asked me to leave the property. Thing is... no one lived in the house. I wanted to check it out because my parents, brother and two sisters said that the house was haunted.

When I arrived at the residence I noticed that there were no curtains on the windows. I walked onto the porch and knocked on the door, but no one answered. I looked through the windows, and could see that the house was empty. Nothing but a realtor sign propped-up against the wall. I didn't try to open the door, as Penton's Country Market store was directly across the street. Remember Penton motorcycles? The same family owned the store. Anyway... I remembered that my parents said there was a well in the back yard, so I decided to walk to the back of the house to see if there was in-fact a well there. Yup! It was there, but it had a cement cover over it. The back of the house looked exceptionally creepy, so I didn't approch the back door. I decided to walk back to the front of the house, and as soon as I reached the porch, I could see an arm pushing the screen door open. WT#? A tall man with black hair, black beard, black eyebrows, wearing a black suit w/white shirt and a black tie, walked down the steps, stopping at the last step. No facial expression on him at all, just a void look on his face. Without getting a chance to say anything, he said to me; "What do you want here?" I told him that my parents lived in the house back in the 1950's, and that they said it was haunted. No reaction to that, but he stared me down - intensely! Now I was getting nervous! After maybe 15 seconds, he replied; "This is my home. If you want to look at it, stand on the street." He turned, walked up the stairs, into the house and closed the door.

By this time I was freaked-out and freezing, so I went across the street and into Penton's market for a cup of hot coffee and a cigarette. When I walked in, two girls behind the counter asked; "Are you moving into that house?" It was obvious that they could see me checking-out the house through the front window of the store. I told them, no, and that the owner threw me off the property. They looked at each other and replied; "No one lives in the house." I asked if they were watching me? They both replied; "Yes". I then said; Did you see me talking with the owner? They replied; "We saw you looking in the window, you walked to the back, came back to the front, stared at the house, then walked here." I didn't say anything else... I left, and that was that. I told me sister what happened. She advised me to stay away from the house, as two of her friends from her high school days had some bad experiences while renting there. Before the intense stuff started happening, my mom told my dad that the spirit was that of a man, and they he didn't want them there. Decades later, the house was converted into a flower shop; as it sits across the street from the local graveyard. Even then, the store went out of business. My brother went into the shop some years back, as he was purchasing flowers for our parents burials. It was the first time he had been in that house since he was a teenager. He asked the attendent if she had ever experienced anything odd while working there? Her reply was immediate... "Yes! Why?"

Tons to explor here in detroit. I don't go inside places, but i have a friend who explorered all the cool places here until he fell through a floor and broke his leg. That was the end of that lol.

I hope no one minds that I'm posting OT subject matter in the Rig-Talk subforum. General conversation in the OT subforum is at best, precarious. Maybe RT could open a separate subforum, specifically formatted for trumpeting reprobate dialog.

Nords are great. I used a Nord Electro 3 for a few years. Eventually I wanted to get the Nord C2D organ but I ended up going back to guitar and just never picked one up. I still kinda want one though.

The Nord Lead 2 is a great sounding board. Totally different from the Lead 3. The Lead 1 and Lead 2 are more aggressive sounding. The Lead 3 was designed to emulate Sequential Prophet and Oberheim OB.
