I recently bought a strat that was supposed to have a suhr dsh pickup. Howver, once guitar has had pickup removed this was underneath.
Anyone know what it is?

John Suhr used to have DiMarzio make his pickups, so it could still be a Suhr pickup.

There ya go, I wasn't aware of that so it could be true. Maybe that's what the JS in the model is? PM John and ask him.

I'd guess it's a "JST Bucker" but I'm not expert on Suhr pickups.

I was hoping it was something like that. Wouldn't make sense any other way.

I am hearing dimarzio only made early JST but by the time of the dsh era, they had stopped.
I hope not, waiting to hear from seller.

i was the original seller the pickup was parntz on here i did research and called suhr and talked to them about the pickup as before i swaped my aldrich for it, It is a suhr pickup and is identical to the current suhr production models. Its a older pickup it was just wound by dimarzio to john's specs before he started manufacturing his own tis all.
