For me my favorite (Gibson Les Paul Classic) is not my most expensive but it's the one I don't think I could ever part with. It just feels and plays the best of any guitar I have owned or played.

I have a few Gibson Les Pauls but strangely enough my favorite guitar is my Epi Les Paul Custom

Nope, neither my #1 and #2 are the most expensive guitars I've bought.

Though are we talking what we paid or what they're worth?

Nope.

My PGM500 is my favorite. Was actually the cheapest of the bunch, but then again, I got a great deal

I paid over 3k a peice for each of my PRS's and I like em alot. But my fav is a 97 AMSTD strat I got used for $400 about 7 years ago. I have many strats but this one is special for some reason.

My favorite (Tyler UW) is my most expensive one I own now, but it is by far much less expensive than guitars I have owned. Mainly PRS private stocks, which paled in comparison to the Tyler, which is why they are gone.

I can't imagine I will ever part with this. I simply love it.

$3100 Les Paul sits and $400 Ibanez played every day. In defense of the Les Paul, I hate the EMGs. Maybe when it is swapped out I'll play it more.

My ninja is my favorite, and it was the most expensive, but its not my favorite because its the most expensive...it just worked out that way. Im sure Ill buy a suhr one day and still like my ninja better

My favorite is my Cali which I bought used for $400 - it's actually my cheapest guitar besides my samick/valley arts beater

My Starfield is by far my most expensive and I love it, but it's too rare of a guitar for me to gig with so it stays at home.

My favorite guitar is my Carvin TL60. BEAUTIFUL quilt top, matching headstock, ebony board, abalone block inlays etc...paid $350 for it.

Had it routed for a single coil in the middle, loaded it up with a set of Rio Grande pickups, and it just KILLs for clean tones and solos.

My fav is my KL explorers, i have a couple other guitars that are more expensive but i dont think about the price.
the reason my KL guitars are my favs is because they are my dream guitars and built the way i like them.

My 750 dollar Ernie Ball Silo Special is my best guitar (not favorite but downright best, it is the most resonant guitar I've ever encountered, nothing can make it sound bad).

My most expensive guitar is by far my best playing and most versatile axe, but in terms of what I'd save in a fire I only have two hands and it won't be in one of them

My favorite is an old MIJ Jackson I scored a few years back for $225. It's the cheapest guitar I've ever owned by far but it's the best playing and has the best neck I've ever felt. It's not going anywhere. It's getting painted slime green by a fellow forum member at the moment and as soon as I get it back all the other guitars are gone :D

My Am. Stratocaster I paid $750 for gets played 95% of the time while my Les Paul Custom sits in it's case.

Nope, but my favorite changes every other week. Right now it's a toss up between my beater XPL and my Carvin V.

That is strange, you could sell one Gibby and get like..6 Epi LPCs. :D

I have a friend who has an Epi LPC and it's honestly a really really nice guitar, (Would be better with better pickups) I'd get one if I didn't prefer LTD EC series guitars for that price range.

I'm sixteen so I haven't got cash for a great guitar collection, I'm really happy with my rig though.

It just depends on the mood and what band I play with. For a while my Memphis was THE guitar I played. I have about 150 bucks invested in it, and that's just the guitar, bridge p/u and pots.

For a while my main guitar was a Guild S-100 probably my most expensive guitar. But I don't know. I just like my tele's better.

Now I use a MIJ Squire Jagmaster w/ a p-94 and a Coil tap on a JB to play in the surf band. I plan on putting a bigsby on another tele I have, but till then the backup is going to be a MIM strat. $250 for the Jagmaster. $200 for the MIM Strat.

As much as I know a $3,000 guitar is cool and if it's new it is well made, I don't care. It's not going to make me play better. The only reason why I would buy a guitar that was that expensive would be because it was used by someone important to me and or vintage.

I'd rather take something that was rejected by a previous owner. Something that was hated, that didn't look the part and nobody wanted.

The Memphis tele I have is MIJ so it's at least decently made, and I first saw it when I was 13 and just started playing guitar. I saw it in a pawn shop 10 years later for 75 bucks. The neck is excellent, and the neck p/u feeds back like a MFer...but I love it.

Not by a long shot.....my Schecter Exotic is the bomb, even though it still needs the frets fixing on it after my little f'k up.

Considering giving it to the shop to do that and letting 'em Plek it after...which would put the setup at roughly half the cost of the guitar..
