For me my favorite (Gibson Les Paul Classic) is not my most expensive but it's the one I don't think I could ever part with. It just feels and plays the best of any guitar I have owned or played.

Nah, I love my Strat and LP equally, though I didn't have much trouble getting rid of my Ibby. I won't part with my acoustic either, and believe it or not it's a Kramer.

Like this one...

My fav is currently my most expensive, but by no means the most expensive I've owned. I love love love my Wolfgang Special EXP. It's the most awesome guitar I've owned. I like it better than my old LP's and my old Kramer Baretta.

Not that I wouldn't like to have those back.

Yup.

Jackson USA KV2. Such a dream. If only my pinstriping worked out last night. How does striping paint take more than 12 hours to stop being tacky? So fucking lame.

My 7 string Ibanez Prestige and George Lynch skull and crossbones replica are my most expensive but I seem to play my $300 Ibanez RG 7 string the most. I bought it just as a backup but liked a lot.

My fav is my ESP Horizon,i paid $4000 for it,however one of my Les Pauls was $6500 and it doesn't get played much,i will say my Charvel i bought from Chubtone gets LOTS of play and it will be
my number one, once i find a way to get rid of the floyd.

My fav is my OLP MM1(fake Music Man) - $200. I have a custom shop Gibby & a USA Wolfgang, but I always reach for the OLP

nope, 2005 mint prestige is my most expensive, but my 1988 korean charvel is the one that gets all the attention. bought to be used as a mut guitar, but it has become my number one

I go back and forth on which one is my favorite.

Carvin dc127, $500
Robin Ranger USA, $650
Lowel melody maker, $500
Kramer Focus 1000, $250 (the only floyd)

I don't have a spendy set of axes. Right now I'm playing the crap out of the Carvin, but next week it might be the Robin and it's super beefy neck.

nope, favorite guitar is still the first "real" guitar I owned, a 1989 Ibanez RG570. Mostly sentimental value, as it isn't worth much, but it's one of the best sounding and playing guitars I've owned.

I had it refinished many years after first getting it from a friend, it was pretty mangled or I wouldn't have touched it. I had the binding added, along with a flame maple cap, BK Miracle Man pups, new electronics, and a Texas Special in the single coil. The rest is all original, and still kicking ass.

nope my 250.00 samick is my favorite guitar, while my least favorite, 950.00 gibson v, feels like crap compared to the samick

It changes every week... But this re-worked Hamer Archtop is my go-to guitar most of the time...over my LPC's and ESP's. Just fits, but then again, I've had it over 16 years.

Peace,
V.

Yes or at least it's a close second to the most expensive.

Rickenbacker 350V63. It's the best guitar I've ever played, feels and sounds great. This would be my desert island guitar.

On the day she arrived, shipping box in the background:

$3100 Les Paul sits and $400 Ibanez played every day. In defense of the Les Paul, I hate the EMGs. Maybe when it is swapped out I'll play it more.

Why don`t you give the Blackouts a whirl? It`s an easy swap.

My favorite is my most expensive.

ESP Eclipse

My granda bought this for me in 1986 or 1987 (1979 Silverburst LPC). She payed $500 for it then. It is still my favorite guitar and probably worth more than my other guitars as well.

Get the Motorcity Afwayu's in it. You will LOVE IT!

My #1 used to be my Edwards Sykes LP...

Until I got this beauty:

It's with the tech getting a set of Suhr Aldrich pickups installed with coil splits.
I'm having the middle single coil removed and I'm just going to leave the slot empty.
Can't wait to get it back.
:inlove:

Ive owned several somewhat expensive guitars over the years but my absolute favorite is my made in India Jackson I bought in a pawnshop 3 or 4 years ago for like $270. Im in the process of modding her and im about half done I guess.. Money is in short supply so im doing it in steps. I added a black neck plate,3 way switch, shielded the control cavity with shielding tape and grounded it,switch the SD designed by POS to a 1979 Gibson T-TOP that came out of a black beauty LP many years ago. I also added two push/pull pots.. the volume pot is also a volume bypass and the tone is set to switch between 2 value of caps. Added a gold pup cover for the neck pup, and gold knobs with red inlays for the pots . I still need to change the tuning machines to some quality black ones, add black dunlop strap locks, change the neck pup to a stacked pup with a vintage output and wire a kill switch. Im going with a theme here.. Gold pup's and knobs, black hardware. Damn kill switch would of been added already but no drill to pop the hole.

Here she is.. Somewhat older pick so it doesn't show the tone pot.Tried an experiment playing without a tone pot.. Sounded like ass if you can believe that. Just sounded more alive with a tone control... Sounded lifeless with out it.. No soul

My favorite, and only, guitar is a Focus 3000...likely the ugliest color ever made. I bought in at a pawn ship in my teens for $149. It sat around collecting dust for years and couple years ago I decided to make it a project guitar. I found a maple neck on ebay with the banana headstock that somebody made. Kind of a shit neck, action is high because of string buzz and the locking nut stripped out, and the intonation leaves something to be desired. But I love the way it feels. I put some Fender Custom Shop 54s in the middle and neck and after a few tries, finally settled on a MCP Second Degree Black Belt in the bridge.

I love this ugly piece of shit guitar.  I love the way it feels and sounds. The best thing about it is I don't care if it gets dinged up. Run into something...oh well.
