Love Charvel and that is a screaming color. Congrats. I haven’t had a chance to play the newest ones but love the features. Enjoy the amazing neck

Your first post made me look and I saw the seafoam one for a very reasonable price. But I soooo don't need it.

Okay, the cleans on this are some of the best I heard out of a 2 humbucker guitar. As you all probably know its got a 3 way bladed switch and a push pull volume that splits the respective humbucker in the 1 and 3 position. With the blade on 2 and the pot in the down position you get the inner coils split. Pull you get the outer coils split. The tone knob has a detent the bypasses the tone out off circuit when turned all of the way up. The pickups are JB/59's direct body mounted. The body is not light and the guitar sustains for days. I questioning my initial intentions of dropping a brass block in it, as I dont think it needs it. The finish is absolutely flawless and the neck is super smooth. The action as is, is very playable with not a hint of any buzz. I will drop it some more next string change. As with any floyd on a high gain amp, it can benefit from some noiseless springs, which again, I will do next string change. The frets are marketed as Jumbo but appear to me to be medium jumbo, but I could be wrong. The setup and intonation seem on the better side for a new guitar. The sound is very forward with lots of lowend. Initial opinion is that its a fantastic deal and no regrets.

Damnit. You're killing me here. I don't even have room for another guitar.

I have been seriously tempted by these and that review is not helping

Looks awesome

Anxious to see what 2018 brings! I'd like to have another San Dimas hardtail.

Nice. I have the trans red one. Great sounding and playing guitars. Who cares where the production is as long as the product is good. I always liked the older style San Dimas Charvels but didn't care for the volume knob placement.

I just put on my elixir's and noiseless springs (a must) and lowered the bridge some more. I am not exaggerating. I had a 2007 custom shop and I like this better over all. The rolled edges feel better and I am now at 1/16th string height and and still not the slightest hint that is will buzz the slightest. It is loud unplugged as well. I will say it that the body is pretty heavy compared to the custom shop and the EVH I had. The hand rubbed urethane still feels super smooth, but I have to give the slight edge to the CS as it felt more "raw". Awesome purchase
