Wow, what did I miss today,, doesn't anyone work anymore?

Well played.

It is missing the poo video, tfridgen is right.

Hey Chad, haven't talked with you in quite awhile. How's it going?

Well after 7 months & 3 try's, Carvin finally built me a guitar I'll be keeping. If you remember, the first one they sent me had the wrong headstock. I never posted about the rebuild on here and I won't go into details, but it was more mistake laden than the first guitar.

This 3rd one is a keeper for sure: The top is amazing (after the first 2 guitars, I kind of fell out of love with the Spalted Maple, so I went with their Aquaburst on Quilted Maple instead) and it plays like butter, but they still managed to get something wrong. :bash: I won't go into it here, but I'm probably going to have to send it back to them so they can fix it.  :bash: :bash: I don't know what is up with their quality control. I love the guitar, but I'll never order anything from Carvin after this.

Here's a couple of pics of it. There's a few Option 50's (off the book options that void their return policy), the main one being that they let me substitute the DC600'S stock blade-style pickup selector switch with a 3-way toggle, plus let me choose it's location on the guitar (I really like the all chrome switch they used too, I don't remember ever seeing one like it on any of their guitars). The pickups are DiMarzios (D-Sonic in the bridge & Air Norton in the neck):

Wow, that looks great Scott! Glad you got it all sorted out. Nothing worse than having to wait for that stuff. You still killing it on the Axe-FX?

Damn that does look really amazing. Wow.

However for a custom job and a custom price I would not accept anything less than 100% of what I ordered.

I would think a company like Carvin would have much better QC than that.

Seriously looks killer though
