It's done and on it's way! Should be here next week

To quote Mike, "You've got the most feature loaded Cali out there :)".

Congrats man!

Actually I was joking that if I added anything else we'd need to put bracing in the chassis to support all the holes

That's awesome! But why the set of controls on the back? :P That's seriously the most pimped out amp I've ever seen though.

So tell us what's different about your cali mod that the others? It looks like he added a clean channel?

Very nice man, thats awesome. Congrats

Will Fortin do these mods to any old marshall? Like a jtm45 or plexi?

Well, there's not really anything on there that he won't do for anybody else, it just has more options than any of the other Calis that have gone out:

- Cali mod
- Tube buffered effects loop
- Footswitchable 2nd master volume w/ saturation switch
- Footswitchable gain boost
- Dual external bias points
- Line out with level control
- Hair switch (Changes the power amp's negative feedback making it darker and smoother (stock Cali setting) or rawer with more hair to it like a stock Marshall.)
- Thump switch (Changes the frequency of the Depth control from low bass (stock Cali setting) to a low mid freq)
- Footswitchable clean channel w/full eq
- Replaced filter caps the new F&Ts because the old ones were starting to bubble
- Fresh set of =C= EL34s
- Lighted green power/standby switches (not normally available on mods)

It depende on the mod. The Hulk he'll only do on a vertical input JCM 800 2203. The Cali he's more flexible on what he'll mod, most older Marshalls are fine but I'd check with Mike on the specific amp. He's a great guy to deal with.

I also remember reading on here that's he's not currently taking mod orders as he wants to focus on getting caught up and his production amps, but it'd be better to just check with Mike on that.

Congrats on the 2 channel Cali!!

That's one awesome amp right there, Mike did a fantastic job :)

I think I started a trend when I had Mike put a clean channel on my Cali... :D
