When you're a rich and famous rock star, it's almost a social requirement to use your platform to make people aware of certain things. I don't mean harp on your political beliefs or religious choices everytime you're on TV, but, for example, when Dio and those guys did We're Stars, it was to help out the starving kids in Africa or whatever.

Anywho, I was in WalMart this morning and they were playing a Kiss song. This is a perfect opportunity to illustrate my point. I Was Made For Lovin' You was released in 1979. There were a lot of social issues in 1979, including sexual health. And being horny rock stars, I think they should've written the lyrics "I was made for lovin' you, baby, and you were made for lovin' me. We should stop the spread of gonorrhea, baby, so let's fuck responsibly".

Nothing exists that “Should” be.

It either IS, or is NOT.

“Should have” means a fantasy in your head called an ideal.

That is fiction.

I understand your frustration.

It was for work, it wasn't voluntary.

Hmm, I wonder what you were picking up for work?...

There’s folks in Nashville make much less clever lyrics about beer, trucks, and Cheatin’.

Maybe that’s the trick, it can’t be clever or ‘good’ to be successful and make money?

Hell if Kiss didn’t have the brilliant marketing, we wouldn’t be talking about ‘em now haha.
