It's like Queensryche, Triumph, Rush, had a baby.

I like the new tune, they are one of the few current bands I love, I'll have to check out Redemption ;)

Great band....loved the "God's Equation" album.
I like this one alot - Intermission. You can clearly hear the Dio influence in Nils K. Rue's voice.

Did someone say Dio influence?

Jorn is so underrated. Yngwie blew it by kicking him out of his band while on tour. I have a bootleg video of that tour and Jorn slays on I'll see the light tonight like no other. incredible singer. Love that Pagan's MInd stuff, never even heard of them

The guitar player in Pagan's Mind has played on most of Jorn's albums, except for, i think, his Dio tribute and Spirit Black.

Redemption is my current favorite American Prog band.

POst up some of your favs from them  Need more music.

Loving the guitar tones and this tune, less gain and very nice pleasent cut.

Here ya go. Ray Alder of Fates Warning is in this band. :D

I liked it, thanks for the heads up!

Ray sounds great, awesome chops. What is he using ampwise?

Cool tune. If it was released 20 years ago I wouldve been a mega hit probably

Finally grabbed a copy of this this morning, listening to it now. Good stuff, will probably grab their discography over the next couple days.

I had heard of Pagan's Mind before, but just never got around to picking something up.

Oops, he's not playing guitar, just singing.

Guitarists are Bernie Versailles(Agent Steel) and Nick Van Dyk(pretty much this guy's band). :)

It's funny that someone posted Redemption with Ray Alder, because I was thinking when I heard that Pagan's Mind track how I wish that Ray Alder was singing for them.

I actually want to hear Myles Kennedy singing on top of some of this stuff too.

I'm a gigantic Queensryche fan too, so I have nothing wrong with theatrical vocals   ;)

Good find, Dan.

Rage For Order, Mindcrime and Empire are some of my all time favorites! DeGarmo was an amazing guitarist/songwriter. To each their own though. ;)
Hey now G - I got an open mind. I just remember falling asleep to some of the material I heard from them early on. I'll check out the three you mentioned, with a open mind. :student:

If you don't like Operation Mindcrime then your ears are broke and should stop listening to music all together. :D One of the top 5 best albums ever made. FTW.

I think this guy in Pagan's Mind is better than those guys you mentioned IMHO. Yup, i like him better than Myles Kennedy, especially for this style of music.

I would even put the Empire album up near there too. They are both by far two of my favorite albums of all time.

10 P.M., I feel the rain coming down. My face feels the wet, my mind the storm. Flashing lights as people race to find shelter from the pour. Moving silent, through the streets, they're mine, they're mine....
