Aspen’s purple ‘72 Marshall, I tried to buy that head but was told that it blew up.
Word has it Lynch bought Michael R/T's original 68' 200 watt Marshall Major few years back but the details are very hush hush.

Killer clip but its not the amp. Its proven that when you use a Dr. Doolittle VHS tape in a 'mic stand stack' you can attain that elusive 3% tone improvement

Yep, 1972 and 1973 super leads are my favorite, (first part of 1973 when they were PTP)…Good year in Marshall's
Stock, Those ones seem to have a lot of gain.

I doubt Lynch bought that major from Michael R/T..he already has 30+ other amps sitting there collecting dust while he plays the 2-3 he really likes. Besides , he is another guy who sounds like himself through pretty much anything so that Aspen purple plexi might sound like shit if we were to play it.
