2006 Toronto, I could touch his feet?
His cabinets were so freaking loud my heart was skipping beats

One of my favorites. Certain bands/guitarists for whatever reason you feel close, like they reach you or there's something that connects. That's how I always felt about GL. Funny how I never made that connection with some great players.

I always felt close to GL, Yngwie and Paul Gilbert, but others like Satriani, Vai and even EVH, I never felt the same connection. I don't know why, it's not that any of them are better/worse than the others. Still love them all.

My bad boys. Kami still number 1!

This will always be my most fond Dokken. My intro to them was Breakin the Chains so I was really looking forward to the next album. When this dropped I was like :worship:

Agreed when Tooth and Nail came out I was hooked . It is such a killer album start to finish and really and brings back fond memories when I was just a kid starting to buy music at the time.

I would lay on the living room floor. Mom had a killer stereo there. Headphones on. Listen to tooth and nail over and over for hours while parents watched tv. Haha
