I hear you on your POV. I call people out on there "shit"; call it a personality quirk, but I never have the intention of trying to keep people out or run them off. Words don't always translate properly when they're typed vs spoken. Can you give me some examples of things I've said that may be perceived as gatekeeping?Hear me out. Because it seems like you've taken it upon yourself to be the leader in ridding the board of people you don't like. In the past, I felt like you acted in a similar way towards me when Lisa, who hated me without cause, tried to run me outta here. So I was perceiving gatekeeping as your track record, like you probably perceive being a contrarian as mine, because I am and it is.
That's not peace on my terms when I say. That's actually putting the ball completely in his court and simply requesting a coming to the table. And peace can't be made when one party continues to attack unprovoked. I guess you were right he lacks conflict resolution skills and can't let anything go. As I'm typing this he responded to my OP calling me an asshole and a second unprovoked post with more insults. As a show of good faith I'll take the road of not responding to that and see where it leads. Hopefully he can exhibit the same maturity. Ball's in his court on what to comes next."I say he needs to take the steps". You want peace, on your terms, when you say. That's not peace, that's you setting the terms of a ceasefire and expecting him to agree to it. Knowing Daniel, that's laughable and will only spur him on. If you really want peace you'll have to be the one to make it, 100%. He's not able to let anything go. Are you?
No worries.Apologies for my error, I took it as related to some remarks about his Princeton and what not.
