I've read that these are basically Schaller licensed floyds? made in germany (you know the germans always make good stuff)

so, these hold tune well? I've noticed those old mid 90s Jacksons go for pretty decent prices
 
anyone? I know these are made in germany by schaller. so I'd think they'd be pretty good. maybe comparable to the schaller licensed floyd?

apparently this one doesn't have the hardened steel baseplate. this is also true of modern schallers, correct? I know people who have Caparisons have told me that the trem is very stable with the tuning
