Hello, I am obviously new here.
I really only joined this community for one reason. I am looking for my holy grail guitar. I have watched for many years from new on display, to current values. Kicking myself in the ass all along the way for not purchasing one.
Unfortunately for me, I see it takes like 50 posts to get access to the buy and sell page. This requires more online social communication than I have done in my entire life. I am hoping maybe somebody will find this post and take pity on a social media hermit.
First let me say I am in no rush to find my holy grail of guitar. I am going to have to shift some money around to get the funds for said guitar so I am realistically at least a month out before I can purchase said holy grail. In fact, I find it stupid that I am going to purchase one wrap it in diapers maintain proper humidity in its storage case only to pull it out once a month tune it strum it a couple times and put back in its safe little home. It will be placed on an altar and worshiped as the quintessential thrash guitar (just kidding) (sort of).
I am looking for as close to a pristine condition Jackson KV1 Dave Mustaine signature guitar as I can find. I want it in its original condition LSR tuners case and all. This guitar if ever found for sale again would mean, I am either a broke ass bitch or dead. Once obtained I may sell my house before the guitar (kidding). I am dumb just not quite that dumb.
I am in the central Midwest US. I do not know how all this buying and selling works on such a forum as this. My used purchases are generally Facebook marketplace. I want someone who is willing to meet in person with said guitar preferably at a music store and I will bring funding in your preferred form, cash, certified funds, silver, gold. I am flexible on what form you would like the exchange to be in. I am willing to take a drive and a short vacation for my said HOLY GRAIL. Please do not waste my time on beat up overplayed example, a knock off, or someone trying to obtain higher than market value. I have waited since the 90's for this purchase waiting a little longer will not kill me.
So, if someone runs across this post and knows someone with one. Please feel free to point them my way, much appreciated however I am not rich so there is no real reward beyond a thank you for doing so and much appreciation. Yes, I do see one posted on the for-sale list ( @Exo-metal ). If I only I was social enough to message and obtain more information. I see he is asking high end market value.
I have attached a picture of an amp I have been building/playing with. It is loosely based on a jtm45/jmp50 head. It is my first build and I am still working on getting to my expected level of perfection, keeping in mind it is based on an imperfectly awsome Marshall.
