...got an email from The Music Zoo for pre-ordering New Signature Charvels.
$3569.00 for Jakes.......gemme a fuckin break
 
Bought from them in the past. Always straight up with me.
You thinking that Jake axe will be cheaper than what they advertise?

MSRP is $4300.00
 
I had already told my wife to plan on me getting one of the new Jake's, but at $3600, I'll just have to play the GMW white and blue burst Jake's I already have.

There was just something about having a real Charvel Jake, but not at that price, the GMWs are great.
 
$4300 for an alder/basswood $500 strat with no whammy ... i'll take 2. :doh:

Ridiculous period!!! :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: Jake's guitar is not even a 100% orignal Charvel. It is basically a repainted Fender with an altered pickguard, frets, and neck.

I was gonna say just buy a Fender and learn how to play guitar but I didn't think it'd go over well.

Yes, you did...it was a joke. It's a US Custom Shop guitar. The price didn't suddenly drop...it was a misprint.

funny as it really is a Fender strat ;) Buy you a white large headstock Strat with bullet truss rod, reduce it down to Charvel headstock and refinish to match the body ;)
