I thought it was cool, seemed like he just kinda forgot the solo for a second - probably not something he plays everyday.

These guys would sound great with there own tunes, drummer is happening and also has a cool voice if this wasn't an ozzy tune. Also live it's very difficult to bash a kit like that and sing considering the separate breathing you need for both, I mean try singing a set while doing jumping jacks. Jake isn't to far from his old self considering all he's been through, some originals and a quality recording they could hit the road and I sure hope he does cause he's about the only guitarist that broke in the 80's that I dug.

Jake could never officially return to playing with Ozzy because he wouldn't be able to play everything in Ozzy's catalog. There is no way he could pull off the Zakk squeals, etc. It would be cool if Ozzy did a show and invited past guitarists (including Brad Gillis) to do songs, similar to what the Scorpions did recently.

Huh? Every 14 year old on YouTube can tune to drop D and do the same 2 pinch harmonics Zakk uses in every song. I doubt he'd want to play Ozzy's new catalog of dance club rock either. Jake used to be the man, this is pretty sad

I think most of you are reading a bit too much into a poorly recorded video clip. We have no idea how long it's been since he last played that song...or how many beers he had before he sat in
I would have a hard time imagining that he couldn't resemble his old self with a bit of woodshedding and rehearsal.

Very DIFFERENT players, I would agree.

Purely hypothetical, but as much as Zakk bent Shot In The Dark, and Bark at the Moon to his own will, Jake in his day could have had a field day with No More Tears, Crazy Babies, Tinkertrain etc.

Drag out your copy of Ultimate Ozzy and watch classic Jake live again.
