My buddy, and lead singer from my high school band back in the 80s is in the crowd for the 7/13 show with Thin Lizzy, Clutch and Jake.

That's awesome. I've recently become a fan of the P90 pickup.
Me too! As a Savage fanboi, I picked up some humbucker size Bareknuckle Mississippi Queen P90s for my Huber Hollywood Krautster II and I'm really diggin' the tones...

Just picked up one of these as well... Should be here Friday  :

Git yer Johnny Thunders on

I gigged with my new Sweetwater blow-out Les Paul Special last weekend...what a ripping plank of P90 loaded mahogany! Might be the best $489 I ever spent.

+1. I have a LP Special Jr with dual P-90's. Got it new for about $450. I had to have the nut replaced but now it is my favorite guitar. I use it for everything from country to 80's metal. I rarely even pick up my $2k Standard.

What's with all this P90 talk from all you hard core humbucker guys? You all are getting old. ;)

I'm kidding of course. I've over the years been slowly gravitating away from humbucker tones. The first to go for me about 10 years ago was the neck humbucker... I much prefer singles or p90's there and now. I recently had a couple of EVH's and never used the neck by itself on those. I always split it wit the bridge. In the end that guitar just wasn't versatile enough for me. Now I'm playing a NF3 that has pups that all are like a P90. Totally like this guitar..... so yeah I'm getting old.

Cool see Jake back out and his guitar looks sweet!

Like this one? The necks on these are killer. Very un-PRS like.

Killer axe. That was made about 5 miles from my house. Been to the factory and it is awesome. Those guitars are worth every dime.

Trunk looks like a cancer patient in that first photo, did he have his stomach stapled ?

Man I hope they change the format of the show and do more interviewing and let the artists perform a song or 2 and stop the BS bits that really dont appeal to anyone. I always feel cheated watching an episode because they only interiview the artist for 3 minutes.

Agreed. They've got legends on there and they're playing trivia games. Stupid.

Take it on the road. Let an artist or band play a song or two. Then have some interview time.

How cool would that be? I would go.
