Apparently Jake's new singer sang the lyrics to "Now You See It Now You Don't" over "The Ultimate Sin".

Oh man...he's gotta be embarrassed. Nowadays lots of guys have cheat sheets/monitor screens with lyrics, I would at that level. I however will still screw up Crazy Train or Kickstart My Heart while my old drummer comes to see my current band just so he can laugh as I do it!

After meeting them. Jake is so drunk on scotch and or high on weed he is just sabotaging his own career.
Even though most here did not like him I thought Darren did a good job live plus I think Jake should drop the Ozzy covers from his set list.

At this point in his life, its too bad he can't play without it. Too many have talked about his struggles...I guess old habits die hard. Damn. I've always been a fan and will go see them if they ever come near me here.

He played great when I saw them along with Darren and I think that Rony guy playing bass. Some one here took pics of the show and posted it on here or whatever.
But one thing I know from being a past addict myself and meeting him he is definitely on some sort of sauce.

How the fuck do you get a gig like that, and not know Ozzy's songs? Ridiculous.

I'm placing a lot of blame on Jake here. I don't know what kind of state he's in, but his return has been a big mess. I love what the guy did in Ozzy and Badlands, he was a huge influence to me, but he doesn't seem to have a grip on being a pro these days. He's surrounded himself with the wrong people, that's for sure.

This.

But it sounds like he's a drunk as well (only speculation). At his age, that will not end well. He had his moment, had it again with Badlands and it appears he may be done. Two runs at it was more than most. He should be thankful and bow out if he can't stop drinking. Too bad. I loved the guy.

well this fuck up was from the first show of the tour so maybe nerves...he hasn't done it again in the following 5 or so shows

I don't think jakes "done" yet man....the album they made was fantastic for the most part and I personally can't wait for a follow up

How can anyone tell with that Shit recording?

All i can hear is a distorted mess

I could tell he wasn't singing TUS (mind you he wasn't singing much at all) but I could only listen for about 20sec, just got to annoying sound wise

I'm a huge Jake fan, worst recording EVER tho. Jake looks like he's about to go skiiing with a jacket and beanie on!

When I saw him a couple months ago he was really really loud. Sounded like my eardrums were clipping. This recording tells me that things are the same. Not sure how you would be able to capture that on a phone at that volume level.

That first show sounds like it had some issues for sure but they pulled things together nicely. I saw them last night and they sounded great!!! Jake was totally on the whole show. I'm sure he had some fun after, but I don't see anything wrong with that. He's also playing with a bad wrist. Had it wrapped up last night. I didn't see anything from the first lineup, but the one last night kicked serious ass!! I love the RDC album and I'm very much looking forward to what's coming next. And the full theater last night makes me think Jake is far from done. Just my opinion

I saw them on the first run - Jake was on, played incredibly. The rest of the band was OK.
The meet & greet, well let's just say I was happy to finally meet Jake, but we were allowed only a quick meet and one item autographed if you wanted... no chat or small talk. And he was definitely feeling no pain after the set
I hope he gets it together. Darren was humble and the rest of the band was very approachable.

I personally canot make it through the crappy recording to even tell if the dude was in key or singing the wrong lyrics.

Horrible sound, why even post such a bad clip? Two different singers, two different blunders...he can't win.
