Ozzy always hit the jackpot with guitarists. I mean he started with the ultimate riff master and then to have Jake and Zakk and the others was like falling into a pot o' gold. They all were so different which made it even better. Iommi could never do "Mama I'm Coming Home" and Randy wouldn't have that doomy riffage for "Into the Void", etc. They each brought the right sound at the right time.

All eras are great but when I heard No More Tears I had that shit on repeat for a solid 6 months

So true . Iommi wrote so many riff types that all genres of metal ape . What’s wild is he started metal . Then wrote a hit . Then went downed tuned and gave us doom sludge thrash ( children of the grave symptom of the universe even verse of Inti the Void ) . Then his work with Dio helped create power metal and gothic metal . Then his influence helped create grunge . It’s wild
