For my looper, multi-fx, and noise gate, I've been using a Line 6 M13. Its good, but it takes up most of my pedal board. I'm looking to get a few pedals to replace it and need some help deciding upon what looper to get.

I want a looper that's easy to use and one that can multi-track, without taking up a lot of real estate on my pedal board and one that's around $100. I like the M13 because there's a button to record and overdub, a button to stop and play a track, and an undo button incase I mess up the track I'm recording. I'm looking to create loops on the fly, mostly for practicing and jamming over. Which pedal is more intuitive to use? Which one is simpler. Which do you like more?

The Strymon time line loops but I'm not sure the complexity of it as far as layers.

Boss RC3 or RC30. Think they have simple drum tracks in them

The best one ive used is the Pigtronix Infinity.
Not only does it sound the best it allows u to save 9 presets and you can multitrack to your hearts content.

Yeah, Theyre a great company. The owner called me after I purchased one a while back and we talked about loopers for about an hour!
They really did their research before creating the Infinity with the goal in mind to create the greatest looper in existance! Awesome company.
BTW, I have an extra one that's new I'm not using if anyone wants a deal on one! :thumbsup:
let me know. Joel

I hear ya. For me, if I was gonna buy a looper it HAD to have the ability to store presets that I could recall or add parts to later so that narrowed down the search for me.

The infinity looks awesome. I would probably use a looper more if I got one. Only used the looper on an akai headrush and flashback x4. I mainly use on for practicing, but it would be cool to have something like the infinity to fill out a 3 piece band. :)

how's about sizing down to an M9 ? still has the looper and a much smaller footprint

if it was me i'd take the ditto over the jam , although i can't see you going wrong with either

I have read about some issues with the ditto looper, so I would go with the jamman.

I've got a ditto looper. It's really simple, compact, cheap & does exactly what I need it to do. I only use mine as a practice tool for improvising though.
My only gripe would be the double tapping to stop. I guess that's the compromise for having a switch that does all & making the pedal small.

The pigtronix is probably the best looper pedal on the market imo. You get what you pay for there. It's not cheap.

I hadn't thought of that, but in the bigger scheme of things, that might cost more than the pedals I want to pick up, which include a noise gate, looper and TC electronics dreamscape and Digitech The Weapon. I really only used a few pedals with the M13, so at least I know what I want.
